Early in 2021, UKAS announced a new brand and website.
As part of this brand refresh the national accreditation symbols have also been renewed.
Independent European Certification will be using the new UKAS logos from June 2021 and rolling them out to all customers according to the deadlines set by UKAS.
Digital Materials – 1 year from launch (1st February 2022)
Printed Materials – 2 years from launch (1st February 2023)
Certificates – 3 years from launch (1st February 2024)
Independent European Certification has worked with BAFE for many years in providing assessment and certification for fire safety providers.
Their new campaign Don’t just Specify, Verify! informs premises management and the public that specifying Third Party Certification is only part of the process in acting with due diligence.
The campaign also points out the important second, and sometimes overlooked, verification stage when specifying and sourcing a competent Third Party Certificated provider to help comply with fire safety legislation.
